6-a-Side Tournament 2002 & Mini-Soccer Festival Saturday, 6 July 2002 – Under
7s, 9s, 11s, 13s, 15s. Sunday, 7 July 2002 – Under 8s,
10s, 12s, 14s. Welton
Rovers Youth Football Club invites your Club to enter
our ninth Tournament and Mini-Soccer Festival, which this year will be
held for the first time at Norton Hill School, Midsomer Norton. Previous years have been a great
success and we are sure that this year will provide everyone with a
highly competitive and most enjoyable weekend of football. Apart from the football there will be
other attractions including BBQ, sideshows, hot and cold refreshments and
“beer tent”. Somerset
Football Association Limited has sanctioned the Tournament. Separate competitions will be run for
each age group. The Under 7s and Under 8s will be 5-a-side with mementos
awarded to all players. All other
age groups will be 6-a-side with trophies and mementos awarded to the
winners and runners-up. There
will be different sized pitches and goals to reflect age groups Closing date for entries is 30
April 2002 The
entry fee is £14 per team and must be sent with the attached entry form
(please enclose a SAE). All entries will be on a first come first served
basis. Starting times, a copy of
the rules, directions will be sent to you together with your confirmation
of entry soon after 30 April 2002.
No refund will be considered for any cancellations made after 30
May 2002. All players must have been under
their respective age limit as at 1 September 2001.
